Privacy policy

This policy describes what DramaShortsTV collects when you use this website. It is short because the site collects very little: there are no accounts, no logins, and no payments here, so most of the categories a privacy policy usually has to cover simply do not apply.
What we do not collect
- No account data. There is no sign-up, so we hold no names, email addresses, passwords, or profiles.
- No payment data. Nothing is sold on this site. We never see or store card numbers, bank details, or billing addresses.
- No watch history tied to you. The site stores a short recent list locally in your browser so the home page can show Continue watching, but we do not record which episodes you played on our servers as a personal watch history.
- No IP addresses in our own records. Our click log stores a country, derived at request time, and discards the address itself.
What we do collect
Analytics (only with your consent)
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages people find and how they move through the site. It runs only after you accept analytics cookies in the banner shown on your first visit. If you decline, or ignore the banner, no analytics script is loaded and no analytics cookies are set.
When enabled, Google Analytics collects a randomly generated device identifier, approximate location derived from IP (Google discards the IP itself), pages viewed, referring site, and device and browser type. We have IP anonymisation on and have not enabled advertising features, remarketing, or Google Signals. See the Cookie policy for the exact cookies and how to change your mind.
Outbound click records
When you follow a link from a paywall to the ReelShort app, we record the click before redirecting you. Each record contains:

This is how we tell which pages are worth keeping. It is not linked to a person, a session, or a cookie, and it contains no identifier that persists between visits. These records are kept for up to 24 months and deleted automatically after that.
This processing rests on our legitimate interest in understanding which parts of the catalogue are useful (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Analytics, separately, rests on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)).
Server logs
Our hosting provider, Vercel, keeps standard request logs that include IP addresses for a short period for security and abuse prevention. We do not query these for analytics. Their handling is covered by Vercel's own privacy documentation.
Who your data goes to
- Google — analytics, only if you consented. Google acts as our processor and may transfer data to the United States under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
- Vercel — hosting and request logs.
- Neon — the database that stores the catalogue and the click records above.
- ReelShort (Crazy Maple Studio) — when you click through to the app, you leave this site and their privacy policy applies from that point. We do not pass them anything about you beyond what your own browser sends in the request.
We do not sell data, and we do not share it with advertisers.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect anything from them. Some series carry adult themes; the catalogue is not age-rated by us.
Your rights
If you are in the EU, EEA, or UK you have the right to access, correct, delete, and port your data, to object to processing based on legitimate interest, and to withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawing analytics consent takes one click — the cookie settings link in the footer.
In practice, because we hold no account and no identifier that connects a click record to you, we usually cannot locate "your" data even if asked. That is by design. If you believe we hold something about you, write to us and we will look.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the date at the top changes with it and the consent banner is shown again where consent is affected.
