Bought by Director Charles Kensington, Lily is renamed Audrey Kensington and brainwashed into despising her birth mother. Maeve's grueling search leads her to Audrey, only to be met with insults. When her son, Connor Gallagher, is crippled defending her, Maeve resorts to selling a kidney to save him. Meanwhile, Charles Kensington's corruption is exposed, and he forces Audrey into an abusive marriage. Despite Audrey suffering domestic violence, Maeve secretly watches over her. When Winston Blackwood attempts to kill Audrey, Maeve sacrifices herself to save her daughter. Finally realizing the truth, Audrey seeks justice, takes in her brother, and begins anew.
